André Geiger, from São Paulo, is Doublebass teacher at UNIRIO, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro State since 2023. Performed as Double Bass Soloist with the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra, Ouro Preto Orchestra,  Assistant Soloist with the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra/National of Catalonia and Filarmônica Orchestra of Minas Gerais. He also worked at the Mannheim Opera (Nationaltheater Orchester), in Germany. As a guest musician, he has performed with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Orchester de la Suisse Romande, Sinfônica da Galícia, Luzern Festival Orchestra.
